Intentional Models based on Measurement Theory
نویسنده
چکیده
Metrics and measures have always been the subject of quite a lot of research works in the Requirements Engineering (RE) community, including about intentional models of Goal-Oriented RE (GORE) such as those of i*. However, using recent developments of the Measurement Theory, in this paper we show that the concept of Measurement Framework (MF) for soft-systems is useful for the analysis of business service systems that need long-term service agreements based on consistent measurements at all stages of their life-cycle (from inception to operation). We show that with two kinds of goals and softgoals based on MF, it is possible to improve (a) the elicitation of functional and nonfunctional requirements, (b) the structure of the i* models, and (c) the consistency between run-time measurements and the model-based assessments of business services at early stages of RE.

An efficiency measurement model in fuzzy environments, using data envelopment analysis
Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is a technique used to compare efficiency in various sectors such as hospitals, chain stores, and dealerships. It represents a set of linear programming techniques and uses deter-ministic data (inputs and outputs), in stable conditions. The DEA technique cannot be used when there is data with indeterministic nature, or when there is an environment with dynamic co...
متن کاملDetection of Outliers and Influential Observations in Linear Ridge Measurement Error Models with Stochastic Linear Restrictions
The aim of this paper is to propose some diagnostic methods in linear ridge measurement error models with stochastic linear restrictions using the corrected likelihood. Based on the bias-corrected estimation of model parameters, diagnostic measures are developed to identify outlying and influential observations. In addition, we derive the corrected score test statistic for outliers detection ba...
متن کاملA Review of Peridynamics and its Applications; Part1: The Models based on Peridynamics
Peridynamics is a nonlocal version of the continuum mechanics, in which partial differential equations are replaced by integro-differential ones. Due to not using spatial derivatives of the field variables, it can be applied to problems with discontinuities. In the primary studies, peridynamics has been used to simulate crack propagation in brittle materials. With proving the capabilities of pe...
متن کاملImplementing a Resource-Bounded Rational Agent with an Intentional Model
Intentional theory is a rich sub-field of Artificial Intelligence that has led to different models of resource-bounded rational agents with varying success. This paper describes the important works on modeling intention and the theory behind them, focusing on how an agent with intentions can be implemented using the existing theory. It finds that while as a whole intentional modeling has had mu...
متن کاملHolistic Nursing from the Dossey’s Theory of Integral Nursing Lens:A Narrative Review Study
Introduction: Holistic nursing is a care process based on mutual interactions that lead to consciousness, empowerment, and well-being of the client, and also plays an important role in improving the performance and skills of nurses, promoting their professional status and independence and self-confidence. The aim of this study was to describe holistic nursing based on Dossey's Theory of Integra...
